Mushroom Compost is a great soil amendment to enrich your garden, lawn, or container plants. It is essentially “spent mushroom compost” or “spent mushroom substrate”, the organic byproduct of mushroom production. When mixed with soil, it provides plants a slow-release nutrient supply as well as increasing water retention. Mushroom compost supports a variety of plants such as: vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. It can also be used to mulch areas of your garden as top-dress to bare soil or mixed into running compost piles.

Our Mushroom Compost comes in block form, in the original bag from their mushroom production. Given the right techniques, you can also re-fruit or inoculate another substrate from the mycelium.
